Lawsuit filed against West Virginia Walmart for discrimination

A former Walmart store employee has filed a lawsuit against the store, claiming she was wrongfully terminated because of age discrimination. The woman said that she had missed work because of a leave of absence for a medical condition, but was discriminated against and received disciplinary actions because of her past leave of absence.

The woman said that the store told her she was fired because of these disciplinary occurrences, but she contends that these disciplinary actions were taken against her because of her medical absence. This type of discrimination and termination can be illegal.
